About HealHer2 Foundation

As a 501(c)3, it is the mission of HealHer2 Foundation to provide wrap-around services to breast cancer survivors affected by life-altering circumstances during their most difficult seasons of life.

HealHer2 Foundation History

Dr. Lakeisha S. McGee was diagnosed with Stage 2 Grade 7 HER2+ ER+PR+ Breast Cancer on November 7, 2018. As you can imagine her life was never the same.

While still in treatment, she began traveling to speak, sharing her story and spreading breast cancer awareness. She wanted to make others aware of what Cancer and chemo does, but most importantly about getting tested because early detection is the key!

If resources can be provided to assist during the most difficult seasons of healing, it would allow survivors more time to heal stress free. That feeling of vulnerability and the desire to be more secure is what birthed HealHer2 Foundation.
